Autumn Armstrong is a multifaceted artist based in Los Angeles, California, renowned for her vibrant tattoos, captivating murals, and dynamic illustrations. From a young age, Autumn displayed an innate talent for art, drawing and painting since she could hold a pencil. Although she pursued formal studies at Mount Saint Mary’s University, she chose to forge her own path in the tattoo industry, ultimately dropping out to dedicate herself fully to her artistry. With 13 years of experience under her belt, Autumn has become a sought-after tattoo artist, known for her unique style of neo traditional whimsy.

 

Throughout her career, Autumn has collaborated with prominent brands and local establishments, including Nordstroms and Pann’s Restaurant, showcasing her versatility as an artist. She previously owned the Painted Lady LA tattoo studio, where she built a community of fellow artists and clients alike. Now a resident tattoo artist at Inked Zen tattoo studio, Autumn continues to push the boundaries of her craft.

 

In addition to tattooing, Autumn is a passionate muralist and painter, creating commissioned pieces for private clients and public spaces. Her work gained national attention when a painting she created in honor of the Black Lives Matter movement went viral, further solidifying her status as an influential artist in her community. Autumn has also illustrated children’s books, bringing stories to life with her enchanting visuals.

 

Balancing her artistic pursuits with her roles as a mother to two boys and a choir director at People’s Independent Church, Autumn embodies the spirit of creativity and community. Her dedication to the arts extends beyond tattooing; she has been featured in various media, including the TV show *Glee*, music videos, books, and articles, further showcasing her diverse talents.

 

Autumn has studied voice under the esteemed Carmen Twillie, known for her iconic performance of "Circle of Life" from *The Lion King*, for over 20 years, enhancing her artistic repertoire. Through her work, Autumn Armstrong continues to inspire and uplift, leaving a lasting impact on both the art world and the communities she serves.
